I’m David Allen, and I’m about to take you into the cockpit … of Other People’s Airplanes!
Other People’s Airplanes – Title Sequence v1.0 from David Allen on Vimeo.
Other People’s Airplanes is a new video podcast series where I will take you into the cockpit of – you guessed it – other people’s airplanes.
While I am not yet a pilot myself, I stay heavily involved in aviation. This puts me in a position to go flying in other people’s airplanes surprisingly frequently. I’ve had the amazing opportunity to fly in everything from an American Champion Citabria to a KC-135 Stratotanker, from a hot air balloon to Mooney Ovation 3, and from a CAP-owned sailplane to a North American T-28 Trojan. The problem is nearly all of these experiences exist only in my memory.
It’s time that changed.
It’s time I started taking you along for the ride.
This short video is the first attempt at a title sequence for the new show. It will inevitably change as I get more and cooler video, but it should give you a taste of things to come.
Are you ready? Let’s climb in!
Great job on this Dave. Keep it up! Glad to see you enjoyed the Ovation 3 ride at STS-129 tweetup. Hope to have you aboard again soon! -Chris
Chris, I was thinking of that flight when I wrote this. That was the first and last time I ever flew in a Mooney. I can’t wait to fly in one again!
Awsome!! Maybe we could add a little J-3 on floats!!
I would love to get some time in a J-3 Cub. Finding one on floats would be icing on the cake.
Dave, looks great! Rockin’ your Scheyden glasses on each ride….Love it!
I love my Scheydens, both in and out of the cockpit.
